We believe in developing our children's strengths and coping skills which will help them to flourish and succeed in life. We would like all children to feel included and content. We value this time in a child's life and we are happy to provide this space for them.
Our vision is to be dedicated to our children and families, to be able to inspire, create and explore our children's world through their eyes and for them to discover and find their place amongst it. We are dedicated to creating irresistible play-based learning environments for young children and we thrive in seeing all children as competent, responsible, resourceful and capable learners.
Our Children's Mission
Our mission is to work together each day to learn, be a good friend and be a positive leader.
Our Approach to Learning
• PLAY is PRIMARY!
• Play provides children with opportunities to enhance their social and emotional growth and learn about friendships and responsibility. Social Skills are enhanced through both group activities, such as story and sharing time, as well as through imaginative, dramatic play that encourages creativity, teamwork and cooperative play.
• Our service endeavours to provide quality early learning experiences to children. We do this by implementing both Síolta and Aistearwhich early childhood curriculum framework supports the learning and development of all the children from birth to six years. The guide is used to plan for meaningful, holistic learning experiences for all children in our setting. We see and respect each child as an individual and it is through the Aistear, Síolta approach that we allow for individuality to shine through.
