In selecting Kilmacowen Community Preschool & Playgroup, you’ve done more than just choose a preschool for your child. You are joining a community dedicated to creating an interactive and holistic environment for our children.
Kilmacowen Community Preschool & Playgroup has been providing high-quality preschool classes to the Ransboro community since 1984. We are a non-profit making, parent cooperative offering sessional class, for children ages 2 years 8 months – 5 years. We take great pride in our commitment to creating life-long learners.
Our goals for children are:
• that they grow to be independent learners
• that they be creative and divergent thinkers, and
• that they be willing to ask questions, take risks, and practice self-control.
Our setting offers widespread opportunities for children to develop and enhance their social, physical, and intellectual skills in an environment that cultivates both individual awareness and respect for the rights of others.
Kilmacowen Community Preschool & Playgroup was intentionally established as a Parent Cooperative to encourage parents to observe and participate in the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of their children. Your participation not only creates a richer classroom environment, it also sends a powerful message of value and respect to our children.
